Ithaca hunts BP assets

DELEK Group-owned Ithaca Energy is in discussions with BP about the purchase of a suite of UK North Sea interests in the Andrew Area and the Vorlich field, according to sources. The package Ithaca is linked with includes BP's interests in, and operatorship of, the Andrew Area and some or all of BP's 66% interest in Vorlich, where Ithaca owns the remaining 34% stake and has been operator since it came on stream in November last year, Upstream understands.
