Boost for Beetaloo basin

AUSTRALIA'S government has launched new grants it hopes will help encourage further exploration of the Northern Territory's onshore Beetaloo basin. Australia's Minister for Resources, Keith Pitt, revealed late last week that the government is offering A$50 million (US$39.1 million) in grants through the Beetaloo Cooperative Drilling Programme.
