摘要

FRENCH supermajor Total has denied that its $3 billion Tyra redevelopment project — critical to ensuring future domestic gas supply in Denmark — is in danger of being delayed. Last month saw a surprise decision by main engineering and fabrication contractor McDermott International to sub-contract fabrication work to competitor Sem-borp Marine Offshore Platforms (Sembmarine) in Singapore. Sem-bmarine announced on 26 December it had been awarded work as a sub-contractor to fabricate "certain platforms and bridges" on the project, but gave no reason for the award.
