Synthesis and polymerization of dimethylacrylic acid esters

摘要

Methyl-and allyl esters ofβ,β-dimethylacrylic acid are synthesized. Their activity in homo-and copolymerization has been studied. The copolymerization reactivity ratios and values β,β-dimethylacrylate is sufficiently active in the copolymerization with styrene and its activity is defined mainly by an inductive factor.
