On potential of platinum electrode in the layer of ion-exchange materials

Potentials of Pt-electrode in the contact with fixed beds of ion-exchange materials of organic origin, strongly acidic Ku-2 x 8 and weakly acidic KB-4 and inorganic origin, strongly acidic based on polyantymonic acid and weakly acidic based on Ti phosphate were measured. Differences in electrochemical proton behaviour in the materials of different origin are shown.
