Reactive oligo(aryl ether ketones)

A series of aryl (ether) ketone oligomers with amino and carboxvl end groups has been prepared via the Friedel-Krafts reaction of isophthaloyl chloride with diphenyl ether in the presents of acylate derivatives of aniline. The reaction was carried out in chlorinated hvdrocarbons in the presents of AlCl_3. The oligomers were characterized by methods of chemical analysis and infrared spectroscopy.
