Chemiluminescene of aqueous solutions of sodium and magnesium peroxydisulfates in the presence of aliphatic alcohols and dimethyl sulfoxide

The phenomenon of the chemiluminescence in the aqueous solutions of the peroxydisulfates in the presence of metal magnesium is studied. It is assertained, that a phenomenn of chemiluminescence has a free-radical nature. The injection of the organic disolvents (aliphatic alcoohols and dimethyl sulfoxide) in the solution leads to the increase of the radiation intensity. This effect is connected with their partisipation in the reaction of peroxydisulfates decomposition.
