NMR-spectroscopic characterisation of group IV6 metal and metallocene complexes with fenchyl alcohal

~1H and ~13C NMR-spectra have been studied for a series of compounds Cp_2M(OL)_2, Zr(OL)_4 and Hf(OL)_4, where Cp-cyclopentadienyl, M-Ti, Zr, Hf, and the -OL ligand is the deprotonated moiety of fenchyl alcohol (1,3,3-trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2-ol). Formatioin of the complexes with deprotonated alcoholato-ligand has been established. Quasi-tetrahedral structure of Zr(IV) and Hf(IV)tetrafencholates have been suggested on the basis of the data obtained.
