摘要

In order to detect the effect of elastic wing deformations on the aerodynamic characteristics, computational investigations were carried out using a program based on the numerical solving the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations. A comparison between the aerodynamic characteristics of an airplane model without deformations and one with elastic deformations at Mach number M = 0.78 and Reynolds number Re = 9 × 10~6 is presented.
