Recently, the realization of "barrier-free" environment for public transport is increasingly drawing concerns of the society. At a number of railway stations, elevators and escalators have been newly installed to help passengers in moving. However, it is indispensable to remove barriers in obtaining information necessary for utilizing rail- ways. For visually disabled passengers, it is difficult to know accurately where they are now. Moreover, they can- not use electronic information boards.
