A new reroutin control system which is based on fuzzy logic

Many known control algorithms for rerouting systems are based on an approach that is optimised for the system, ie the aim is to minimise overall costs within the system by means of the recommended route. The system that is described here uses the advantages of the human decision-making process but standardises and automates it in order to relieve the burden on the operators by using fuzzy logic. The results of simulation for the area studied show that the system has clear potential for improving significantly traffic flow when used for rerouting systems.
