The Bus Information and Signalling (BIAS) project-an unbiased review of a major UTMC implementation

An ageing Urban Traffic Control system, the need to provide reliable real time passenger information along several quality bus corridors, a developed ITS Strategy, together with success in securing funding via the Scottish Executive's Public Transport Fund, provided Glasgow City Council with the ideal opportunity to fully exploit the UTMC Standards emerging from the four initial UTMC Demonstrator Projects.
