Spanning the gap

Cheshire has played a unique role in the passive safety revolution. The county was the first authority in the country to use the Lattix post system and has been involved in trials of Lattix going back at least ten years. Today the county has an installed base of some 100 or so Lattix posts and has an active on-going programme to change sign posts to Lattix where the existing posts are not consistent with the new passive safety standard.
