Commercial, societal and practical deployment issues for cooperative vehicle highway systems (CVHS) are high on the agenda for a new global inter-industry joint task force (JTF). Set up by the International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies (FISITA) and the World Road Association (PIARC), it aims to present preliminary results at the 16th ITS World Congress in Stockholm, Sweden, from 21-25 September 2009.
