POSSE is building on the experience of the two well-established European frameworks for maintaining standards and open specifications for ITS-based deployment: the UK's UTMC; and the Open Traffic Systems (OTSVOpen Communication Interface for Road Traffic Control Systems (OCIT) specifications used in German-speaking areas of the Euromainland.
