As far as opinions go, this one probably sums up one of the biggest challenges the industry has faced over the past decade and it is one he is keen to help put right. Roll back half an hour and fresh from a meeting with Transport for London where Imtech is re-bidding for contracts, Dr Ruiz sits down to start the interview with Surveyor at Imtech's headquarters in Hampshire. It is one of a long list of things he has to do that day but he says he likes to talk about transport, traffic and infrastructure and they are subjects he is clearly passionate about.
