I've just got a new car. It's a SEAT Ateca (pictured) with a petrol engine, replacing an ageing, much dirtier VW. It's nothing special as cars go and lacks the toys - oops essential driver aids - of the similar Audi that is £4k more. But it will get me and the family from A to B. I am chuffed with it as apart from being good to drive, it connects via my mobile phone to the world. I can use google maps to navigate (which interestingly warned me of a queue ahead on the M25 before Highways England's MIDAS signs did ... I'll accept the traffic was heavy and so Google had a good sample but surely the infrastructure-based system should be in the lead here?].
