A lack of charging infrastructure is one of the biggest hurdles curbing the adoption of electric vehicles today and delivering the goat of a lower carbon economy. What puts people off, is not knowing whether they will be able to find a charger. In the UK alone, an estimated requirement of 100,000 electric vehicle charging points are needed to cope with one million vehicles predicted to be on the road by 2020.
