Climate change: Space, development and urban transition, Université de Bretagne occidentale, Brest, France, 5-6 October 2015

摘要

Within the context of the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP 21, held in Paris, the Geoarchitecture research team organised a conference in Brest, to discuss the link between climate change and urban transition.This meeting brought together a hundred urbanists, geographers, agronomists, climatologists, ecologists and psychologists, both researchers and practitioners, to discuss and contribute to debates on the link between urbanism and climate change. Climate change has opened a new challenge for urban planning and one of the main asks of this conference was about whether or not an urban transition has started in reaction to climate change; asking questions of how urbanism can be influenced by climate change, and how land use planning can positively influence climate change.
