At the invitation of the Government of Bhutan, the twenty-third session of the Asia-Pacific Forestry Commission (APFC) was held in Thimphu, Bhutan, 9-11 June 2010. Delegates from 28 member countries and 4 United Nations organizations participated in the session, along with observers and representatives from 17 regional and international inter-governmental and nongovernmental organizations.
