Compliance of a Curved Tube Subjected to Buckling

摘要

A solution to the problem of determining the compliance for a curved member of a pipeline subjected to a longitudinal bending moment with and without internal pressure is presented. The solution was obtained using the finite element method (FEM). The main factors affecting the compliance are considered and graphs for its evaluation are presented.
