摘要

A modified version of the Hein-Koehler model for heat transfer in the dispersed flow is proposed; the model is based on the introduction of a correction when calculating the nonequilibrium factor of a droplet-laden steam flow. The correction considers the decrease in the total droplet surface area upon evaporation of the droplets in the superheated steam. Comparison of the calculated and the experimental maximum wall temperatures yielded a relative error of 5% at most. The predicted results can be applied to establish closure correlations for two-fluid models of a two-phase flow used in computer programs.
