Die Behandlung der dislozierten proximalen Humerusmehrfragmentfraktur beim alten Menschen wird weiter kontrovers diskutiert, auch neuere Therapieverfahren wie die winkelstabile Plattenosteosynthese konnten ihre Überlegenheit bisher nicht beweisen.
