NBT's Pavatherm, Pavatherm Plus and Diffutherm woodfibre board insulation systems have been used to provide high performance, healthy and sustainable insulation for Willmott Dixon's innovative Re-Thinking school demonstration building, launched at the BRE OFFSITE2007 event in June.rnConstructed in the BRE Innovation Park in Watford, the Re-Thinking building is a representative segment of 'the school of the future' and demonstrates all the principles that would be incorporated into a full-size school building. Every aspect of the Re-Thinking school has been designed to improve the learning environment, from the flexible and practical internal layout, to the high level of natural light and ventilation, and the enhanced sustainability and energy efficiency credentials of the building. According to NBT's its woodfibre board systems are ecologically sound (95% of the material used is from waste), natural products, which outperform synthetic alternatives in durability and thermal performance.
