Uk nuts and snacks firm Trigon Snacks has been saved from administration in a deal with Choithram and Sons, which owns Natco Foods. Trigon Snacks makes Big D and Planters nut snacks. It also imports supplies for retailer own-brand nuts, processing over 6,500 tonnes per year.The company entered administration on 10 September owing to cash flow problems. It was forced to shed 64 jobs shortly afterwards, but the sale to Choithram has saved a further I 10 jobs at the site in Liverpool.
