Following the refurbishment of Class 158s and 150/2s operated by First Great Western (RM Dec p78 and Jan p86 respectively), the first revamped Class 153 has re-entered traffic. Work on unit No. 153305 was completed by Wabtec at Eastleigh, as that briefly-closed works is more convenient for the single cars' area of operation.
