Swanage drops February 'Thomas' event

The Swanage Railway has joined the list of heritage lines dropping 'Thomas' events. Citing "last minute contractual conditions from the Thomas trademark owners, HIT Entertainment PLC" with which the line was unable to comply, the February 16-24 'Thomas' event was replaced by a 'Family Fun Week'. No decision has been made on its October 'Days Out with Thomas'.
