The Rother Valley Railway has applied for planning permission to rebuild around 400 yards of ex-Kent & East Sussex Railway over Udiam Farm to the B2244 (Junction Road). This has become possible after a change of ownership of the farm, the new owner being prepared to allow the line to be rebuilt on the original alignment over his land. Earlier plans for a deviation can now be dropped.
