Following the Great Central Railway's September 11-13 diesel gala, HNRC's Anglia Railways-liveried Type 4, No. 47714, left the line on the 14th, going on hire to Serco at Old Dalby test track. Class 03 No. D2158 Margaret-Ann, transferred from the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway to the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway in June (RM Sep p82), arrived at the GCR on August 12.
