New colours for WHR NG/G16S

Welsh Highland Railway Garratt NG/G16 No. 138 will return to service carrying South African Railways lined red livery (see picture of cab section).rnIt has carried different shades of green since restoration by thernFfestiniog Railway. No. 138 was withdrawn for a ten-year overhaul early in 2008 and moved from Dinas (WHR) to Boston Lodge earlier this year to speed up its overhaul. Recently-restored WHR NG/rnG16 No. 87, grey since entering service earlier this year, will be repainted black this winter, meaning two of the NG/G16S will carry new colours on the WHR for 2010. The third NG/G16 in WHR service is already black.
