Llangollen Railway's tracks edge closer to Corwen

The Llangollen Railway's Corwen extension continues to progress. Ballast has arrived at the Bonwm works site, with an expectation of 900 metres of track being laid between Bonwm and bridge 28A this autumn. Denbighshire County Council has issued a contract for the flood relief scheme outfall. Work is expected to start imminently, encompassing removal of bridge 30, crucial for the line to reach the new Dwyrain Corwen East station.
