SDRA welcomes new president

The South Devon Railway Association unanimously elected Richard Elliott as president at its June 1 AGM. He succeeds Ron Reynolds, who wished to stand down from the post. Mr Elliott has been involved with the line since 1965 (when it was under Dart Valley Railway auspices) and was general manager from it being taken over by the South Devon Railway Trust in 1991 until his retirement in spring 2009.
