West Coast reduces third-party commitments

A SHORTAGE of qualified steam footplate crews is forcing West Coast Railways to end its provision of crews to third-party operators. Prompted by the retirement of several long-serving steam traincrew staff, WCR says it is unable to provide crews for organisations such as Tyseley's Vintage Trains after the end of December.
