VINTAGETrains(VT)has unexpectedly acquired three Class 144 'Pacers' through the generosity of Porterbrook Leasing, which it will move for particular types of main line charter excursion. Set Nos. 144014,144019 and 144023 have arrived at Tyseley to join the steam fleet in a sponsorship arrangement, ensuring the'Pacer' continues to run on the main line for the benefit of enthusiasts and the general public alike.
