The H-1nf fusion research project

The recently formed National Plasma Fusion Research Facility at the Institute of Advanced Studies is described in the context of the interna- Tional fusion research program and the national col- Laboration with the Australian Fusion Research Group. The objectives of the Facility and the Planned physics research program over the next five Years are discussed and some recent results sum- Marised.
