How many millions of years did we, as humans, exist without using anything more than a camp fire or candle to light our evening activities? And yet here we are in our modern world lighting up every conceivable thing we come across. In a world where energy is becoming scarcer and we are in danger of irreparably pillaging the world in which we live, why do the countries that lead the world still want to cover their backsides by lighting areas or interior spaces that don't need or want it?
