Retrofitting of all lamp-based lumi-naires, be they for external, internal or decorative effect purposes is an important topic, as it has the opportunity to extend the life of suitable existing luminaire bodies whilst bringing energy and operational savings. This can result in a cost-effective upgrade and also an environmentally-friendly strategy, so requiring less initial recycling and disposal.
