摘要

It is almost a year since I became President of the Institution. During that period I have been able to visit each of the Regions; either for their AGM, a technical meeting, a one day exhibition or a social function. The extent of the Institution's activities is substantial, the quality is very good and the presentation is carried out in a professional manner. In most cases these activities are very well supported. Unfortunately some are not well supported and the Institution, either at regional or national level, will have to consider the future of the events or how they can be improved to increase the attendance.
