An 'intelligent' decision-support system that is able to apply the logic used by detectives to identify suspicious behaviour is hoped to become the latest tool in countering terrorist activity.rnThe technology has received more than £2m of government funding and over the next two years it will be the subject of a joint research project being undertaken by 10 British universities.
