It is good to see the collective letter from various organisations, which dealt, in part, with raising the profile of engineering among young people (Letters. 13 July) However, what actually is being done in this regard?rnAre we, the engineering 'community', going out to schools to bring the excitement of our profession to young minds?rnDo we invite pupils and their teachers to our companies to show them the clean environment of engineering today?
