With more than 6,000 visitors, the launch of the Advanced Manufacturing UK show last year was a great success. Despite the current economic woes, this year's event - to be held at the Birmingham NEC on 25-26 March - is also shaping up well, as manufacturers work hard to make sure their operations are as lean and efficient as possible. Overall, almost 400 companies will be displaying their wares at this year's event, many of them will be announcing new product launches that will make it easier, and possibly cheaper, for manufacturers to achieve their aims.
