A superministry will usher in its own set of problems

Few new ideas escape the gravitational pull of the black hole that is Brexit. One such is the creation of a superministry, master of everything from business and energy, to transport, art and sport. This 'grand projet' would, according to unnamed cabinet sources surfacing in newspapers, achieve faster policy delivery by merging the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) - itself only a couple of years old - with the Department for Transport and, perhaps somewhat more oddly, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
