Record profits for China's CPMC Holdings

Sales of beverage and milk powder cans contributed to record profits at CPMC Holdings, the packaging division of Chinese food group COFCO and the country's largest canmaking company. Beverage cans, both two- and three-piece, currently represent just over half of CPMC's business, the balance being in food, aerosol and general line cans, steel drums, as well as twist-off closures, printed tin-plate and plastics packaging.
