Stork's direct laser technology

Stork Prints Austria is the world's only supplier of direct laser plate engraving machines. Its state-of-the-art DLE6010 burns directly onto a true polymer plate using a high temperature laser beam, enabling better control over the depth and shape of the nonprinting surface. It even allows 'below surface engraving', with dots just below the printing surface, so that the offset blanket just 'kisses' the surface to transfer ink dots as small as 0.022mm.
