Festival House is the first building to be built on Blackpool's Golden Mile for many years. The structure of the building consists of prefabricated cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels manufactured off-site, a method pioneered by dRMM in the UK. This engineered timber structure is clad in golden stainless steel shingles above a plinth clad in especially designed concrete blocks containing recycled and phosphorescent glass.
