Lawrence Prize contenders announced

A day centre for the homeless, three houses and a boutique hotel extension have been shortlisted for this year's Stephen Lawrence Prize which honours schemes with a budget of less than£l million. The RIBA special prize was set up in memory of the teenager, an aspiring architect, who was murdered in 1993.
