Apparently Aedas'Peter Oborn and ORMS' Oliver Richards have both ruled themselves out. Manchester's Stephen Hodder, however, has not — although he is expected to make a final decision on whether to have a crack at taking on the commitment later this week. If he did decide to stand, who would he be competing against? According to Astragal's spies, there are no other hats currently 'in the ring' and a bid from any of the institute's vice-chairs is thought unlikely.
