Another week, another rumour about how the replacement for KPF's long-awaited Helter Skelter tower in the City of London will look. According to sources, the all-new PLP designs won't actually appear too 'all-new'. Insiders say the latest designs will simply extrude the floor plans of the existing skyscraper upwards from the ground floor straight up to the pre-approved height of 288m. So instead of a twisting, tapering form, the scheme will more resemble a tube. Time to drop the Helter Skelter nickname then?
