BUILDING OF THE YEAR STEVEN HOLL ARCHITECTS WITH JM ARCHITECTS, SEONA REID BUILDING, GLASGOW SCHOOL OF ART

The Seona Reid Building is the unanimous winner of the 2014 Building of the Year award, which was delivered on site by associate architects and AJ100 firm, JM Architects. The jury was adamant JM Architects' role alongside Stephen Holl in making this 'bold, complex building', as Crispin Kelly called it, should be recognised and that the role of executive and associate architects in the creation of good and great buildings be more fairly acknowledged. The AJ and its jury for this award category is proud to take this lead.
