The Association of Man-Made Industry of India (AMFII) is amongst the earliest Textile Industry Associations in the country, spanning more than half a century. AMFII represents the manufacturers of Viscose Fibre, Filament & Tyre Cord in India. In Viscose Staple Fibre, its Member, Grasim Industries is a world leader with a global presence in China, Indonesia, Thailand and Canada. India is also the second largest producers of Viscose Filament Yarn (VFY) in the world. The VFY manufacturers include Century Rayon, Indian Rayon, NRC Ltd., Kesoram Rayon and Baroda Rayon. Rayon Tyre Cord is manufactured by Century Rayon and Shriram Rayon.
